Rick with Mitch Ryder (very early work in progress)
Rick played with Mitch Ryder on several albums, as well as touring with him in the U.S. and Europe, including a performance in Germany which was documented on film. Following are links to music videos taken from that concert, at the Rockpalast, courtesy of postings on YouTube. (The following includes info associated with the postings (which could use some tweaking for the purpose of this webpage, but here it is, as is, for now...) Mitch Ryder - "WAR" from the LP Easter in Berlin Live 1980It was the spring of 1980, when Mitch Ryder and his band began their first European tour. The tour came on the heels his legendary and somewhat controversial appearance on German TV show "Rockpalast" the previous autumn . This track was recorded "Live" at the Opera Hall in West Berlin in East Germany before the wall ever came down. The complete LP -- "Easter In Berlin -- Live 1980" is available by download only through CD Baby www.cdbaby.com/mitchryder4 . It's also available from the German record label Repertoire as part of a double CD set "Live Talkies" + "Easter In Berlin". Video was created by Tom Conner, Ryder's co-producer at the time.
